The Squirrels (1½-2½ years)

A thoughtfully planned programme is provided allowing free play but within a structured environment. The room is designed in a way to allow the children to self select activities, we have a soft play area and a home corner. Light floods into the room through the picture windows which allow the children to view the surrounding countryside.

Settling In

Babies move up to the toddler room between twelve and eighteen months old, however, this very much depends on your child's indiviual needs and stage of development. We only move children when they are ready. Before moving to Squirrels your child will have visits for an hour or two to familiarise them with the new surroundings. You will be invited to meet the staff and see the room where your child will be spending their time.

Our Staff

We carefully select staff who are totally devoted to the children in their care. All of the staff are very experienced and have been with Springburn for a number of years.

Dani leads the Squirrels unit and is assisted by Charlie, Lauren, Emma, Hollie and Clare
